About DRUM ZONE

DRUM ZONE is owned by me, Michael Marquart, who has played drums for more than 30 years. In addition to being a passionate collector, I have played tambour drum in the Livgarden Tambour Corps, played in several bands and taught drums.

I am a former craftsman and school teacher, including a music teacher. At the end of 2023 I quit my job as a school teacher, and in 2024 I went full-time with DRUM ZONE.

The first idea

About 7 years ago the idea to make/assemble drum clocks arose. I therefore bought a lot of cheap drum sets so I could get started. The idea of ​​drum clocks is still alive, today, and well - ask if you are interested :-)

I tried to clean the cymbals from the many drum sets I had acquired and put them up for sale on dba.dk. After that, things took off.

The primary focus was on cymbals

Having cymbals in a small shop made sense. That's why it's been my primary focus for the past year and I have a good 300 cymbals here in the shop. I have a lot of experience in cleaning cymbals. This in a way that both the sound and the visual are taken care of. I take pride in making an effort.

A concept emerged

Over the years, I have learned the importance of finding the right thing. Therefore, there must be time for reflection if you want/need it.

You can therefore book an appointment with me so that together we can find the right solution for you.

You book 1/2 hour at a time, but of course you are not obliged to be in the store the whole time if you need to move on quickly. You can also book double times if needed - and yes, there is of course a cup of freshly ground coffee if you feel like it :-)

I also recommend that you bring your own cymbals. This is so that you can compare the sound of the cymbals here in the store. Of course, I will make my knowledge available and help you as best as possible through the process.

Still possible to exchange

During my time at dba.dk, I swapped percussion gear extensively. I plan to continue doing this. I know that musicians, including drummers, can't always afford what they want.

If you have something to trade, you either have to spend a small amount or nothing at all. That way, it will be easier, faster, to get what you want. I have a large selection, so here you can have your new acquisitions secured in a good, thorough and efficient way.

In the shop, I have a lot of different types of drums and percussion. Most of it is used/refurbished, but I also have new stuff. When people ask, I usually say: 'I don't have everything, but I can potentially have everything'.

I also have two warehouses full of percussion instruments, so I have much more than what is listed here in the catalog and in my online shop (drumzone.dk), so ask!

If you have specific requests, please write them down. I will then try to obtain what you may need, either by exchanging or buying second-hand. Also, ask if there is anything else you may need, and I will find out if I have it in stock.

Renovation

Good parking conditions

1/2 hour free parking with a parking disc. It is a 'Park Zone' area, if you want to park longer you can use a 'Park Zone App'. I can also set up guest parking if needed. The shop is located just outside the environmental zone, so you can easily get here with a diesel car.

I am happy to ship, well wrapped in recyclable packaging, to the whole country. There is a fixed shipping price of 49,- FREE SHIPPING on orders over 999,- I do not ship drum sets, but I travel around the country quite a bit, so ask about delivery.
